96-04 Mustang stock steering column to roll cage adapter bracket

!! This bracket is designed specifically to adapt stock 96-04 mustang steering column to the cagekits.org sn95 roll cage and may not work well on other cages and or cage kits !!

Designed and manufactured in house in the U.S.A. the Rangers Drift Work's column adapters are the perfect solution to adapt you stock sn95 (96-04) mustang steering column to your cage.

Made of 0.135" thick steel and welded together the adapter is not only strong but extremely resistant to flexing, helping increase steering feel thanks to the rigidity. Along with using high quality stainless metric m8 hardware, this adapter is built to last!

Curve on bracket to mate to dash bar designed for 1.5" roll cage tubing the same stuff used in cagekits.org cages and most other cages. It may work on other size tubing with modification but your results may vary and we cannot guarantee it will.

Kit includes:

2x Cage Brackets

4x M8 Stainless Nuts

Recommend Additional Parts:

We recommend replacing the both the oem steering shaft and firewall steering shaft bearing with after market rigid replacements. They are known to be common failure points adding sever amounts of play or outright failing completely, we recommend the Detroit Drifting co. splined shaft and firewall bearing kit.

Instructions:

Written instructions with pictures coming soon. Till then we recommend bolting the brackets to the column then using a ratchet strap around both the column and dash bar using the strap to synch them together. With the steering shaft connected sit behind the wheel using the play from the strap to position it where you like, then tack it to the dash bar remove the ratchet strap and finish welding it fully.
